{alpha and zeta were loosely restrained to exclude the trans range in non-helical regions based on the fact that all 31P signals are in the range of −1.2 to 0 ppm}
{beta was restrained weakly to the trans region (120-240°) when the P-H5" and P-H5" peaks were clearly weak or absent in 1H,31P-TOCSY spectra (A16, G17, U18, U19)}
{In the non-helical regions, gamma was judged qualitatively from the H4'-H5" and H4'-H5' peaks in the 50 ms TOCSY. If both H5'/H5" to H4' couplings are small, gamma is g+ or around 240° (U15, A16, U18 were restrained to −130-90°). gamma is g− or trans when one of the two is strong (U19, restrained to 120-330°).}
